Senior Forward Deployed Engineer | Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, System Design | £115k–£145k + Equity | Fully Remote (UK)

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll operate at the intersection of software engineering, system design, and customer delivery, working directly with enterprise clients to implement, configure, and extend a production-grade AI platform. This is not a pure backend role, you’ll be a key technical partner, translating complex requirements into scalable, real-world solutions.

You’ll design and build custom features, integrations, and production systems, working across Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, and distributed systems, while contributing to system architecture and technical design. You’ll also debug and optimise live environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across complex implementations.

Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-impact solutions, shaping best practices, and helping scale processes as the business continues to grow globally.

We’re looking for engineers with a strong background in software engineering or solutions architecture, with experience building production-grade systems using Python, JavaScript, and SQL. You’ll have proven experience in customer-facing or post-sales engineering roles, delivering complex technical solutions directly to clients.

You may come from a background in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Software Engineering with client exposure, but you’ll combine strong coding ability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

For more senior candidates, experience contributing to system design, architecture decisions, and scalable platform development will be key.

This is a fully remote UK role offering £115k–£145k + equity, with no travel requirements and a high degree of flexibility.
