Full-Stack Python Engineer | AI & Climate Tech Start-up | London / Remote | Contract or Permanent - £800p/d or up to £150k+ equity

A fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup is building infrastructure to accelerate the global transition to clean energy. Backed by tier-1 investors and operating at the intersection of AI and climate, they’re tackling one of the biggest bottlenecks in renewable energy. Replacing years of manual processes with intelligent automation.

You’ll work directly with the CTO as an early technical hire, owning features end-to-end across backend, data, and frontend. This includes building secure data platforms, designing human-in-the-loop AI workflows, integrating external datasets, and developing scalable full-stack systems using Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. You’ll need strong engineering fundamentals, experience with messy data pipelines, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.

This is a high-impact role where your work directly contributes to accelerating billions in clean energy investment. You’ll have real ownership, technical autonomy, and the chance to shape a product from the ground up in a mission-driven environment that values speed, precision, and first-principles thinking.
