Platform Engineer (AWS) - London (Hybrid 2-3 days a week) - Permanent – 100k Salary + 20% Bonus + Benefits – FinTech / Financial Services

A growing UK financial services company is building a new generation of digital products focused on improving financial wellbeing. They are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure as part of a major technology transformation, including the launch of a new customer-facing financial app. You’ll take ownership of AWS infrastructure and platform capabilities, working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-efficient environments. The role includes infrastructure design, incident management, business continuity planning, technical documentation, and supporting system readiness for production.

The environment includes AWS, serverless and container technologies (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, Docker), infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability and security practices within a regulated financial environment.
