WordPress Developer – PHP / HTML / CSS – Up to £45k + Benefits

An established digital agency is seeking a WordPress Developer to join their collaborative production team. You’ll be building bespoke WordPress websites and applications, working closely with designers and developers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly solutions for a variety of clients.

As a WordPress Developer, you’ll:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

  • Work on responsive layouts with HTML5, CSS3, and PHP

  • Integrate APIs and contribute to bespoke functionality

  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance across platforms

  • Collaborate with the wider team and contribute to project estimates and documentation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, custom builds)

  • Proficiency with PHP and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

  • Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility

  • Experience with version control (Git)

  • Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices
